School Holiday Programs

Growing Early Minds offers a range of inclusive, fun, educational group programs and camps for children during school holidays. Our programs are limited to small groups so that every child receives close one-on-one support.

Clever Kids Camp

Developed by our experienced allied health team, Clever Kids Camp uses evidence-based methods to address challenges in emotional regulation, social interaction, communication skills, gross and fine motor skills and healthy eating habits. Our engaging program is adapted for the needs of every child. Because Clever Kids Camp runs over 4 days, the children have plenty of opportunities to practice and improve their skills before heading home.

Cost: From $1,034.66/camp. This program is eligible under NDIS funding.

Lego® Therapy

Our Lego® Therapy group programs for children aged 3-5 or 6-10 years will support the development of skills such as sharing, turn-taking, collaboration, conflict resolution, and verbal and non-verbal communication – facilitated by a psychologist and speech-language pathologist. Since 2004, Lego® Therapy has been used to help children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or social communication difficulties to develop these vital skills.

Cost: $646.60 – This program is eligible under NDIS funding.

Our Holiday handwriting heroes program is designed for students in Kindergarten to Year 2. Facilitated by experienced occupational therapists, it will help your child to develop skills for better handwriting in a fun group setting.

Cost: $646.60 – This program is eligible under NDIS funding.

Language and literacy

Our school holiday language and literacy group programs are designed for children in Kindergarten to Year 2. Facilitated by experienced speech-language pathologists, your child will join in engaging activities targeting vital reading and writing skills – such as receptive and expressive language and phonological awareness.

Cost: $646.60 – This program is eligible under NDIS funding.

Parent Workshop

If you’re the parent or carer of a child with ASD, this workshop will provide information and practical strategies for reducing challenging behaviours such as tantrums, noncompliance, and aggression. Facilitated by a qualified and experienced psychologist or behaviour support practitioner, you’ll learn about the characteristics of ASD and how to identify and manage challenging behaviours. You’ll meet other parents and carers who are experiencing similar circumstances.

Cost: $517.28 – This program is eligible under NDIS funding.
