Get your jarjum ready for school

The Ngallu Wal school readiness program designed for children starting kindergarten in 2020 and is facilitated by allied health professionals from Growing Early Minds. Each week is themed differently and the activities focus on building and improving skills to help them have the best start to school.

We’ll work on:

  • Making friends
  • Following routines
  • Vocabulary building
  • Expressing emotions
  • Listening and attending
  • Waiting and asking for help
  • Sharing and taking turns
  • Co-ordination, balance
  • Pre-numeracy, pre-literacy
  • Fine motor skills
  • Building independence


Time 9:45am –11:15am (1.5hrs)

Included Morning tea and parent handouts for further learning
